Free agent quarterback Chase Daniel will visit with the Jets on Monday, SNY's Ralph Vacchiano confirmed.
Last Monday, Daniel asked the Eagles for his release after they traded for veteran QB Nick Foles.
The 30-year-old backup quarterback visited with the Saints over the weekend, but left New Orleans without a deal.
Daniel is reportedly looking for a chance to compete to be a starter.
For his career, Daniel is 51-78 (65.4 percent) for 480 yards, one touchdown and one interception, serving as a backup for the Saints, Chiefs, and Eagles over the last seven seasons.
The Jets visited with QB Josh McCown over the weekend.
