Free agent WR Allen Hurns will sign with the Cowboys, he told Josina Anderson of ESPN.
Wednesday's snowstorm in New York City has forced him to delay his visit with the Jets, and the team signed Terrelle Pryor the next day.
After the storm delayed his Jets visit, Hurns instead visited the Cowboys on Wednesday, according to Anderson.
The 26-year-old Hurns posted on social media following his release, noting that he is now "excited to see what's next."
I would like to thank the @jaguars organization for giving me the opportunity to live out my dream. I appreciate it all from the good to the bad. More than anything ima miss the relationships I've built with my brothers in that locker room. Excited to see what's next pic.twitter.com/kXGacVaX7s- Allen Hurns (@A1hurns) March 20, 2018
Hurns joined the Jaguars in 2014 as an undrafted free agent and e signed a four-year extension in 2016. He caught 39 passes for 484 yards and two touchdowns in eight games for the Jaguars last season.
In four seasons, Hurns totaled 21 touchdowns for the Jaguars but was limited to just five touchdowns in the last two seasons as he was hobbled by injuries.
