Next domino in Jets QB situation: Tim Tebow will request to be traded/released after season assuming McElroy starts last 2 games, per sourceYou really cannot blame Tebow for wanting to get out of New York. He was not wanted from the get-go, his playing time never truly materialized and on top of all of that he's been caught in the middle of a quarterback controversy. The ideal solution for the Jets is to find another suitor for Tebow and try to recoup some of the pieces they lost in trading for him. Unfortunately, the market was barren when he arrived in March and isn't likely to be much better given his struggles this season in limited playing time. The Jets may have to cut their losses and release him out right in the end. Either way, it's time to move on.
