Looking back at the last 10 years, ESPN reporters put together the best of the best in an AFC East All Decade team. And the Jets are very well-represented.
First and foremost, Darrelle Revis had to make the list as one of the cornerbacks. He was actually the group's top Jets player of the decade after collecting three All-Pro bids with New York. In his prime, no quarterback or wide receiver wanted to deal with Revis, which is why "Revis Island" became such a popular thing every Sunday.
Just leave Revis alone on one side of the field and he'll take care of it.
"Revis played only 60 regular-season games for the Jets in the decade -- five seasons -- but it was enough time to establish himself as one of the best defensive players in franchise history," wrote Rich Cimini.
Nick Mangold got honorable mention for best Jets player of the decade for his consistent offensive line play from 2006-16. But he was selected as the All-Decade team's starting center -- that should've been an easy decision to make there.
Mangold was a first-team All-Pro in 2010 and made five Pro Bowls during his career. A team captain, Mangold was a leader on and off the field and laid the foundation for solid Jets lines during the early years of the decade.
Staying on offense, WR Brandon Marshall and OT D'Brickashaw Ferguson made the squad. Marshall played with the Jets only in 2015 and 2016, but he did have solid seasons with the Miami Dolphins in 2010 and 2011. Ferguson is Jets lifer, having served on the line from 2006-15 as a solid tackle.
Switching back to defense, LB David Harris, who totaled over 1,100 tackles as a Jet from 2007-2016, had to make the list. He anchored the middle of the defense, though Revis was always the back name on that unit.
