Analysis: This is the big one. Josh Gordon leads the NFL in yards per game and he is quickly becoming one of the best receivers in the game rather quickly. Gordon can get open everywhere on the field and is big and strong once he has the ball in his hands. The Jets are going to have to bracket cover Gordon all day. The good news is that with WR Davone Bess and TE Jordan Cameron out of the game for the Browns, it will make life a little easier for the Jets. Cro was used more in press coverage a few weeks ago against the Raiders ... look to see if they use him there today. If they do, it might mean that he's more healthy than he's been for much of the season.
DL MUHAMMAD WILKERSON VS. OLs JASON PINKSTON & JOE THOMAS
Analysis: Muhammad Wilkerson is not winning the Pro Bowl balloting so far, but he's easily having a Pro Bowl season. No disrespect to Joe Thomas, but the line on the whole can be put under pressure at times. The Browns are decent at protecting the passer, but Wilkerson is one of the game's most complete lineman. Look to see if he can rack up a few sacks today working on the left side of this line.
SANTONIO HOLMES VS. JOE HADEN
Analysis: Joe Haden is playing some amazing football this year for the Browns. Santonio Holmes is on the record this week as willing to do anything to come back and play for the Jets again next year. Matching up against one of the league's best corners will be a good test for Holmes (assuming Haden - listed as questionable - plays, as expected). While the rest of the Browns secondary can be taken advantage of, it will be the the best player's job to keep Haden occupied much of the game ... can Tone do so while posting some yards?
