Now Commenting On:

With New Year's and all the interest around any pending decisions, we took a few days off from the Year in Review posts ... we'll finish them up quickly over the next few days.  Here's a quick look at all the happenings from the Jets of the last year, month by month.  Next up, July 2013 ...

New turf was installed at MetLife for the Super Bowl while Bent answered his mail (1,2,3).  New Jersey Newsroom argued how the integrity of beat reporting is increasingly under question and Rex ran with the bulls.

We inducted our 2013 TJB Hall of Fame class.

Camp Cro got underway, while Jets West was more sparsely attended than in year's past.  Even so, Sanchez was sure he would win the starting job.

As camp loomed, news started flowing in fast and furious.  Holmes was placed on the PUP, and was hesitant to assign a timetable ... a timetable of "never" might have sufficed.  The Jets added some guy name Leger Douzable who turned out to be pretty damn good. Braylon Edwards signed with the Jets for one last ride and had a message for fans.

Trust a kicker to be the first man to training camp.  Aaron Berry's camp was short-lived.  R in CT took some great pictures, Corey and I did some video diaries from camp: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 & Day 4.  We also talked to Nick Mangold about hamburgers and Willie Colon about playing in New York.  Brian Baldinger questioned Geno's conditioning (he seemed fast enough this season to me) and the Jets might or might have practiced some Pistol sets.

I stayed dry while Corey and our video producer Jeff got soaked. We diagnosed some blocking drills.  The Jets finally signed Dee Milliner.  Sheldon Richardson won't be doing this next summer at training camp.

Random stuff? Schein wasn't fond of the Jets talent level. Mangold knew Mo was in for some big things. Parcells said he was at his best when with the Jets. LolaSportsTalk released his best images from his 2012 season-long sojourn.  Maybe we should have re-read this article more about Idzik's level of say. A t-shirt became famous.
