A New York rookie is favorite to win Offensive Rookie of the Year according to one Vegas sportsbook, but not the one you're thinking of.
Jets QB Sam Darnold (+175) is favorite to win the award according to Bet Online, ahead of Giants RB Saquon Barkley (+225). Browns QB Baker Mayfield (+900) and Bills QB Josh Allen (+1200) are in the mix as well.

Darnold opened at +1600 this summer.
When Barkley was drafted No. 2 by the Giants, it was assumed he'd be the favorite for Rookie of the Year. GM Dave Gettleman long discussed his desire to reaffirm the running game and it appeared unlikely that Darnold nor Mayfield would be week one starters for their new teams. But, after the Jets traded Teddy Bridgewater, it appears the Darnold era will get underway straight away.
The USC product has totaled 244 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and a 64.4 completion percentage through three games this preseason.
We won't know for sure whether or not Darnold will get the nod to start under center Week 1 until after Thursday's final preseason matchup against the Eagles.
