Jamal Adams senses a different feeling at Jets training game.
The team has a new coaching staff, new running back and a 22-year-old quarterback with plenty of potential, and Adams feels the guys are fired up.
"It's a lot of energy. A lot of swagger," he said. "Everybody is competing out here. Coaches included. That's how you get better as an organization. Every time you come out to practice is definitely a show. When I say a show it's doing right things, doing little things, competing at a high level."
Adams said that everybody is bringing the swagger, but added that new defensive coordinator Gregg Williams definitely has had a special impact on the defense.
"Obviously, G-Dub brings a different swagger to the defensive side of the ball," Adams said. "I can tell you we're going to be in shape, flying around."
Overall, Adams feels things are changing.
"Culture is where it needs to be and we're moving in the right direction."
