From 506Sports.com, the coverage map for the CBS Early games.
The Jets-Browns matchup does not play well nationally with two teams coming off disappointing 2014 seasons and neither possessing a marquee name at quarterback. The game will get it's normal hometown area coverage distribution and a swath through Pennsylvania, but that's it.
Kansas City might surprise this year and that, combined with JJ Watt and Hard Knocks, seems to have almost everything west of the Mississippi blanketed. Miami is seen as something of a darling, as noted by their solid coverage from Washington to Miami and by picking up some NFC North viewership who wants to see Ndamukong Suh in his post-Detroit debut. Buffalo might be without a quarterback, but matching up Rex Ryan's new Bills defense against Indianapolis has it getting a respectable distribution.
As always, if the Jets want a chance at more national audiences, then they need to win some games and the coverage could shift for their good matchups.
