Wide receiver Jalin Marshall and defensive lineman Claude Pelon were among nine players the New York Jets signed to reserve/future contracts on Monday.
New York also signed quarterback Joel Stave, wide receivers Daniel Williams, Damore'ea Stringfellow and Tre McBride, offensive tackle Korren Kirven, offensive guard Ben Braden and defensive back Terrell Sinkfield to reserve/future deals.
Marshall, 22, was assigned to the practice squad after he served a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy for performance-enhancing drugs earlier this season. In 2016, he recorded 14 catches for 162 yards and two touchdowns in 10 games with the Jets.
Pelon, 25, appeared in one game this season, recording two total tackles. He spent most of the season on the practice squad.
