Former Jets head coach Rex Ryan has never been one to hold back his thoughts.
Ryan, now an analyst with ESPN, took a shot at Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper, going so far as calling him a 'turd' during Friday's episode of Get Up.
"[Amari Cooper] is the biggest disappearing act in the National Football League. ... I wouldn't have paid this turd."- Get Up (@GetUpESPN) April 3, 2020

The 25-year-old receiver and the Cowboys recently agreed to a five-year, $100 million contract, with $60 million in guaranteed money.
In five NFL seasons with Oakland and Dallas, Cooper has failed to reach the 1,000-yard receiving mark just once, and in 25 games with the Cowboys, Cooper has caught 132 passes for 1,914 yards (14.5 yards/catch) with 14 touchdowns.
Ryan later walked back his usage of the word on SportsCenter, while maintaining his opinion that Cooper is overpaid.
Ryan coached the Jets to a 46-50 regular-season record over his six seasons with the team, taking the Jets to the AFC Championship Game after both the 2009 and 2010 seasons. After a brief 31-game stint with Buffalo, Ryan transitioned to the TV side.
