In one of the lowest points in my 45-year history of watching the team, the Giants' performance in Super Bowl XXXV has got to be as disappointing as they come...

The Giants had just crushed the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game, 41-0 and appeared to be a legit Super Bowl team.? But the Ravens defense was one for the ages in 2000.

Big Blue defensive coordinator Perry Fewell will interview with the Denver Broncos today, but Daily News' columnist Gary Myers thinks that a former Giants' head coach would be a perfect fit.

There is one name on [Executive VP of Football Operations John] Elway's list that makes the most sense: Former Giants coach Jim Fassel.

Reached Saturday by the Daily News, Fassel preferred not to talk about any interest he might have in the Broncos job, but clearly this would be a great opportunity for him. And one he deserves.
