With the 29th overall selection in the 2009 NFL Draft, the Giants were focused on taking a WR. ?Would it be UNC's Hakeem Nicks or local prospect Kenny Britt of Rutgers?

Of course, we know the Giants would end up taking Nicks, leaving Britt to be scooped up by the Tennessee Titans with the very next selection. ? The Giants and their fans never looked back. ?Nicks is a budding superstar and a great kid.

Britt is also very talented, but he's having a hard time staying out of trouble. ?Since Britt was taken by the Titans two years ago, he's had multiple run-ins with the law. He was arrested in Bayonne, NJ on Tuesday after eluding police who flagged him for speeding. It seems he's amassed quite a record over the past two years....

Britt ended up going to the Titans?with the 30th pick. The two will be on the same field Sunday when the Titans come to the New Meadowlands Stadium to play the Giants. The Giants were high on Nicks. They liked his hands, how he ran routes, and?his ability to gain?yards after the catch. In his rookie season a year ago,?Nicks caught 47?passes for 790 yards and six touchdowns. Britt had 42?catches for 701 yards and three touchdowns.

What's happened since, however, tells a different story. Mr. Britt had a rough offseason. He showed up to minicamp overweight. Titans coach Jeff Fisher threatened to take him off the active list during the preseason and, having dropped to the third receiver spot, the Titans didn't throw to Mr. Britt once in last week's game.
