Jets kicker Nick Folk is scheduled to become a free agent and has expressed his desire to come back to New York. ?Folk told Metro NY that the Jets would like him to return as well.

?I?d love to stay in New York,? Folk, who is currently in Dallas training, told Metro New York. ?They?re still finalizing the coaching staff from what I heard.?

He had an end-of-the-season meeting with general manager John Idzik and head coach Rex Ryan in late December, where he sensed the Jets wanted him back.

Normally as steady as any player on the field for the Giants, Lawrence Tynes has had a rough month of December ? in terms of being a kicker.

Tynes has only made four of his last seven field goals, and his 33-yard miss Sunday in the first quarter against the Falcons set the tone for a long afternoon.

So Tynes is going through a cold stretch, but is it really a cause for concern? He?s still leading the NFL in field goals made (33) and field goals attempted (39).
