"Some guys now will move up," Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Thursday. "Cole Aldrich will probably have an opportunity to play and we have to kind of reshuffle our lineup in terms of how we're going to start and then go from there."
Andrea Bargnani will likely get the start at center Friday in Charlotte and Kenyon Martin could play 15-20 minutes, Woodson said.
Still, Aldrich could be utilized for a few minutes.
"When you talk about using fouls and if we got foul problems, he's gotta be ready to play, absolutely," Woodson said.
Woodson said he would meet today with president/GM Steve Mills and assistant GM Allan Houston about possibly adding another big.
"I'm going to sit and talk with Steve today, he and Allan both, and just see what's out there and go from there," Woodson said. "I don't know what's out there right now as we speak."
Jason Collins, who came out as gay earlier this year, is available but Woodson said he was uncertain if the Knicks would pursue him.
"I don't know what he's done," the coach said. "It's hard for me to even comment on Jason or any big right now until I sit and talk with Steve and Allan about it and kind of see who's out there. I'm sure there's a list of some bigs but who they are, I don't know ."
