Former Knick Charles Oakley is still not happy about being thrown out of The Garden last year, but he is looking forward to the moment when the general public can see video footage of the incident.
Oakley, who hopes to find out "in about a month" when he will be able to return to The Garden, said he watched the video from February of last year when he was ejected during a nationally-televised game between the Knicks and the Clippers.
"What I see, the fans will see sooner or later too because it's embarrassing," he said of the video.
Oakley further expressed his displeasure with the way the team has treated him when he asked who he thinks the Knicks should target in free agency or the draft.
"I don't know; they don't listen to me," he said. "When you throw me out, that means my opinion doesn't matter."
Oakley said he still wishes the best for the team and noted that the fans still have been there to support him.
"What happened in the Garden and how they run the Garden, that's been an issue for awhile and it's going to keep being an issue until somebody knows what they're doing."
