Rose reportedly performed a private workout for Anthony to showcase his health and ability to perform at a high level (Basketball Insiders, June 2).
Anthony was greeted at the United Center with a picture of himself in a Bulls uniform wearing his No. 7 while the marquee in front of the stadium showed him in a Bulls uniform with the Larry O'Brien trophy.
Along with Rose, Joakim Noah and Taj Gibson also made appearances for the team. Later in the visit, Anthony was joined by Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, general manager Gar Forman and executive VP John Paxson.
While the Knicks can offer Anthony a max contract of $129 million over five years, and some teams can offer him a max of $96 million over four years, the forward would have to take less than either of those offers to sign with the Bulls.
