NEW YORK -- Following the Knicks 107-99 loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday, Derrick Williams didn't want to talk about the heist of $750,000 worth of his jewelry by two women he reportedly brought home Saturday night from a club in the Meatpacking District.
"I'm not going to answer any questions about that, just no comment," said Williams, the former No. 2 draft pick out of Arizona.
According to the New York Post, Williams and a group of friends brought the women back to his Tribeca apartment following Saturday's win over the 76ers. The women reportedly went through a Louis Vuitton jewelry case holding three quarters of a millions dollars in jewelry. Williams, 24, didn't notice that the bling was gone until the next day.
Asked if it was a distraction for him while the police investigate, Williams added, "I'm just not going to answer any questions about it."
