Kevin Durant was on Monday's episode of "How Hungry Are You?" on Bleacher Report, hosted by former teammate Serge Ibaka, and spoke on his decision to sign with the Nets this offseason instead of the Knicks.
"I just like the organization as far as just the direction they were going in," Durant told Ibaka. "
Durant was surely pointing to Kyrie Irving and former Knick DeAndre Jordan when describing players who have a lot of playoff experience. But it's the entire team as a whole, with the Nets making the playoffs last season and a number of the players from that team still in Brooklyn.
With Durant not expected to suit up in the black and white this season, the Nets are still expected to make the playoffs and give fans a vision of what the team could ascend to once he returns.
The Knicks, on the other hand, have not made the playoffs since the 2012-2013 season, and are compiled of a large number of Top 10 picks from the last few drafts, with Taj Gibson and Marcus Morris as their veteran players with lots of playoff experience.
