Chicago Bulls' G Dwayne Wade believes Knicks G Tim Hardaway Jr. has improved tremendously, per SNY's Taylor Rooks.
Last week, Wade saw a completely different Hardaway than he knew as the two worked out together in Los Angeles.
"The one thing I've seen in TJ is he's working," Wade said. "He works tirelessly on his body and game. He's gotten so much better since he was first in NY. Same name but different player."
Wade was a supporter of Hardaway's four-year, $71 million contract that many were surprised the Knicks dealt to the 25-year-old. The Knicks' offer was approximately $25 million more than what Hardaway was projected to earn, according to FanSided's Phil Veasley.
Hardaway, who played his first two seasons with the Knicks before they traded him to Atlanta in June 2015, averaged a career-high 14.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 79 games with Atlanta last season.
