The Knicks are back on the road tonight, traveling down to Washington D.C. to take on John Wall and the sightly improved Wizards.

Now, I'm sure you are asking, how can a team that is 12-35 be improving. Well, considering that they are 7-7 in the past 14 games, that is what I would call improved since they were 5-28 before that.

John Wall is a talent that any team would be lucky to have and build around. The Wizards know that him and the 2012 #3 overall pick Bradley Beal are the building blocks to better days for them.

This season is really another throw away as the franchise tries to keep moving away from the bad decisions it made in the past while trying to bank on some success they had in the mid 2000's.

For the Knicks, things could not be going much better. Tyson Chandler is rebounding like crazy, Amar'e Stoudemire looks like he is fully recovered from all his injury issues and Carmelo Anthony is a top three MVP candidate and has been since the season started.

With the return of Raymond Felton, the Knicks are 5-1 and just swept a home stand that saw them take care of the Hawks, Bucks and three bottom of the barrel teams, in the Kings, Magic and Pistons.

Tonight, we will see another team, in the same group as the others on the home stand in the Wizards. Yes, they have played much better since Wall returned from injury. But seriously, does anyone truly believe the Knicks are gonna lose tonight?

My confidence in this team taking care of business against the bottom of the NBA is sky high and I don't think tonight is the night the Knicks letdown. I'm saving that possibility for the game Friday against Minnesota.

So, sit back, relax and enjoy the game tonight. If the Knicks lose, it will be pretty stunning.

Five Questions About Tonight's Game

  1. Can Tyson Chandler get 20 rebounds for the 4th straight game?
  2. Can the Knicks avoid a letdown?
  3. Will the Knicks be able to slow down John Wall?
  4. Can Melo and Amar'e continue to play well together?
  5. How will Iman Shumper look as he continues getting back into game shape?
