Snow, Snow, everywhere Snow. I hope you are all doing well after the blizzard and can enjoy this game between the Knicks and the Clippers this afternoon.

For the first time in 117 meetings between the two franchises that long ago played in the same state (The Clippers originated in Buffalo, NY as the Buffalo Braves), the Knicks and Clippers will meet with records 10+ games over .500.

The Clippers come into this game healthier than in the past few weeks as Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Once a Knick, Always a Knick, Chauncey Billups all returned from injury on Friday against the Heat.

Of course that didn't change the recent losing trend for the Clippers as they were blown out by Miami.

The Clippers, once winners of 17 straight games earlier in the season, started out 32-9, but are only 3-8 since then, of course that was mainly the time Chris Paul was out with a knee injury.

One thing to look out for will be the Clippers bench led by Once a Knick, Always a Knick Jamal Crawford and Eric Bledsoe. It's a very dangerous unit that can provide issues for any team it faces.

For the Knicks, they are actually fugitives of the law in the state of Minnesota. They are charged with grand larceny and conspiracy for getting that come from behind win against the Timberwolves on Friday night.

It was truly one of those games where the basketball gods even the score for a game you lost that shouldn't have been the case. Beating the T-Wolves in the fashion they did was penance for losing to the Wizards the game before.

In terms of today's game for the Knicks, I wonder how Iman Shumpert will play today. He has been slow to get acclimated to the NBA game after returning from injury and is now apart of trade rumors for Jared Dudley of the Suns. I think he will want to prove something to the front office today and show them reasons to keep the faith in his abilities.

He will defend Chris Paul to start the game, so the opportunity is there for Shumpert today.

I think this will be a fun game to watch and you never know, could be a preview of a possible series of games that would start in the month of June.

Five Questions About Tonight's Game

  1. Will the Knicks be able to handle the up-tempo style of the Clippers?
  2. Can Felton bounce back after a poor game in Minnesota?
  3. How will Paul, Billups and Griffin look in their second games back from injury?
  4. Which sixth man, J.R. Smith or Jamal Crawford, will have the better game?
  5. Will the odd travel from Minnesota, caused by this weekends Blizzard, affect the Knicks?
