With turmoil swirling around the Lakers -- including Magic Johnson's departure, the botched Ty Lue pursuit, and a protest by the fans -- some are calling on LeBron James to demand a trade.
And while there is no indication that James has any desire to leave Los Angeles, that didn't stop Bovada from releasing fresh odds regarding where James will open the 2019-20 season.
The above odds will likely make WFAN's Mike Francesa happy, since he hilariously said that if the Knicks get the No. 1 overlall pick (Zion Williamson) in the upcoming NBA Draft that they should trade it for James, which he says would result in a trip to the 2019-20 NBA FInals.
Regardless of Francesa's wild idea, it seems likely that James will simply stay with the Lakers, with there already being rumors that former running mate and pending free agent Kyrie Irving could be plotting to join him.
Irving could also be a Knicks target -- especially if top target Kevin Durant wants Irving to join him.
As far as the 34-year-old LeBron, he's under contract with the Lakers for the next three season, during which he is owed roughly $118 million.
