The Knicks have selected Kentucky F Kevin Knox with the 9th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft. Here's his scouting report.

2017/18 Stats: 15.6 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 1.4 APG, 45% FG, 34% 3PT
Knox was the no. 10 recruit in the nation for the Class of 2017 according to ESPN and went to one-and-done powerhouse Kentucky University to play for John Calipari, where he was named co-SEC Freshman of the Year.
Knox is a modern wing, able to play both SF and PF, with shooting range and is able to finish around the rim. The latter set him apart from Villanova F Mikal Bridges, who was drafted by the 76ers one spot later.
The 18-year-old is one of the youngest players in the draft. Knox is described as a "versatile defender" by Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer who has "athleticism, length, and lateral quickness." O'Connor also added that he's a "savvy scorer." The Ringer compares him to Tobias Harris, Al Harrington and Jeff Green.
Knox has had his motor questioned, though Sports Illustrated postulates that it could be confidence-based. SI compares him to Wizards F Otto Porter Jr.
Bleacher Report thinks that Knox "could be destined for a few DNPs this season" and "shouldn't be relied upon for consistent minutes."
