After Madden's rankings created a stir among NFL fans early on Monday, NBA2K quickly followed up with their rankings, too.
Of note is how the rookies are ranked, particularly Knicks' RJ Barrett.
New York's first-round pick, and third overall, was rated a 78 in his first time appearing in the video game.
Barrett's ranking placed him third among rookies, behind Grizzlies' Ja Morant -- ranked 79 -- and Pelicans' Zion Williamson -- ranked 81, the same order in which they were drafted.
Following Barrett on the rookie scale was Hawks' De'Andre Hunter and Cavaliers' Darius Garland, both at 77.
