Frank Ntilikina is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Bucks, the Knicks announced.
Ntilikina had been listed as questionable earlier in the day, but with the point guard's status up in the air, the team brought in Kadeem Allen from Westchester.
Ntilikina played just seven minutes in Sunday's loss to the Celtics before being removed due to back spasms. Dennis Smith Jr. played a season-high 38 minutes in his absence, scoring 17 points, another season high.
Ntilikina has served as the Knicks' starting point guard since Nov. 1, and has averaged 7.7 points and 4.0 assists in 15 games. He joins Marcus Morris on the inactive list for Monday's 8 p.m. tipoff in Milwaukee.
