The Knicks have hired former president Barack Obama's brother-in-law, Craig Robinson, to a front office position, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Robinson is the brother of former first lady Michelle Obama.
The 55-year-old Robinson will be working in player development, reports the NY Daily News.
He previously worked in a similar position with the Milwaukee Bucks, shortly after serving as the head coach for Oregon State from 2008 to 2014. He was also the head coach for Brown (2006 to 2008), and served an an assistant coach for Northwestern from 2000 to 2006.
Robinson was twice the Ivy League Player of the Year during his playing career at Princeton. He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the fourth round of the 1983 NBA Draft but never played in the league.
