The NBA confirmed Wednesday that the Knicks will host Chicago Oct. 29 in their regular season opener as guard Derrick Rose returns to the Bulls. The next night, the Knicks travel to Cleveland for LeBron James' return to Ohio.
The Knicks will make several marquee appearances throughout the season, their first under coach Derek Fisher. They'll host Washington on Christmas Day -- when James makes his return to Miami with the Cavs -- and host New Orleans on Martin Luther King Day (Jan. 19). The Knicks will play Milwaukee on Jan. 15 in London as part of the NBA Global Games series and host the Los Angeles Lakers at 2 p.m. on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 1.
