The Knicks are reportedly in "serious talks" on a deal with guard Trey Burke, who has spent this season with G-League Westchester, according to Yahoo! Sports' Shams Charania.
Burke, 25, has been with Westchester for this season after playing with the Jazz and Wizards over the first four years since he was drafted ninth overall in 2013.
Burke, according to Charania, is expected to be held out of the G-League Showcase from Jan. 10 to Jan. 13 and could reach an agreement on a deal as early as the weekend.
With Westchester, Burke has averaged over 27 points per game and shot nearly 50 percent from the floor. The former Michigan Wolverine has averaged 10.6 points, 3.6 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 267 career NBA games.
