Knicks rookie Kevin Knox got an up-close look at Paul George on Monday and decided he needs to be more like him.
Following the Knicks' 127-109 loss to the Thunder, in which George scored a team-high 31 points, Knox said that he wants to train with the Thunder forward in the offseason.
Per The Athletic's Mike Vorkunov, Knox said he had watched film of George, Kevin Durant and Otto Porter before the draft to get ready for workouts and improve his game.
Knox and George share mutual friends and expects to get into the gym with him at some point.
The 19-year-old forward has a lot of similarities to George, most notably, they share the same 6-foot-11 wingspan.
Knox is averaging 12.3 points, 4.2 rebounds per game in 38 games this season and is shooting 37.8 percent form the floor and 35.2 percent from three-point range.
