The Knicks have announced their 2018 Summer League roster that features first round pick Kevin Knox, former first rounder Frank Ntilikina, and recent second-round pick Mitchell Robinson.
The Knicks start their Las Vegas Summer League journey on Saturday, July 7 against the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks will also play the Jazz and Lakers before the start of the tournament round.
The roster is filled out with returners from the 2017 Summer League team including Luke Kornet and Damyean Dotson.
Both are returning from their rookie seasons with Kornet spending his year in Westchester, while Dotson appeared in 44 games for the Knicks. In 44 games, the Houston shooting guard averaged 4.1 points, 1.9 rebounds, and .7 assists.
Forward Troy Williams rounds out the veteran side of the roster. Williams is returning from a fractured jaw that sidelined him in April. After being released by the Rockets, the Indiana University product was signed to a ten day deal that was followed up by signing a multi-year contract with the Knicks.
Other than the development of Ntilikina and Knox, the biggest storyline going into the Knicks summer league is the production of center Mitchell Robinson. Robinson has not played organized basketball since the 2017 McDonalds All American game, where he recorded 14 points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.
