Kristaps Porzingis appears to prefer doing his talking on Instagram.
The Knicks' star forward was spotted in New York by TMZ Sports on Thursday night but refused to answer any questions, which included an update on his surgically repaired left knee.
TMZ reported their encounter with Porzingis was shortly before he posted photos on his Instagram story of himself sprinting on a track, which was in response to comments made by Knicks head coach David Fizdale to the New York Daily News about the 23-year-old's progress from ACL surgery nine months ago.
Fizdale said Porzingis was "working his butt off" but added that he has not progressed much from where he was at training camp, in which he was limited to shooting and light jogging.
Porzingis was also asked about the Knicks' chances of landing Kevin Durant in free agency next summer or selecting Duke star Zion Williamson in the draft.
But the Knicks All-Star stayed mum about those possibilities, too.
