Knicks fans received a bit of a scare on Thursday when it was learned that Mitchell Robinson has been dealing with a knee injury at Team USA World Cup training camp in Las Vegas.
Robinson, who is playing for US Select Team which practices against Team USA's World Cup roster, reaggravated his injury during a session on Wednesday, per The Post's Marc Berman.
Thanks to a video from The Daily News' Stefan Bondy, you can see Kyle Kuzma drive to the rim and Robinson looks to slip and take a fall, but quickly get up.
Mitchell Robinson's sore knee is minor. He underwent MRI on Monday and it was clear, a source says. Team USA is holding him out of practice for precautionary reasons. You can see him tweak the knee at the 50-second mark of video from yesterday's practice pic.twitter.com/WduiLJngEO

On Friday, sources told SNY Insider Ian Begley that Robinson will sit out of the Team USA scrimmage on Friday as a precautionary measure.
Many believe that Robinson, who had a solid rookie season, will come in as the starting center when training camp kicks off for the Knicks.
