The Knicks' players voted F Carmelo Anthony "Best Teammate" as part of the NBPA awards on Friday, per NY Daily News' Stefan Bondy.
Every player in the NBA was allowed to vote for one player on their team for each award, and an overall winner of the category. Anthony is well-liked in the Knicks' locker room, and F Kristaps Porzingis recently backed those claims saying he loves him as a teammate.
However, Anthony and the Knicks are obviously looking to part ways as the two sides have made that point clear this offseason. Robin Lopez, who won the teammate award last season with the Knicks was dealt to the Bulls in the Derrick Rose deal in 2016.
As for the other awards, the players also voted Russell Westbrook Most Valuable Player this past season, and for the third straight year, LeBron James was named "The Player you Secretly Wish Was on Your Team."
Some other 'Best Teammate' winners were Lakers' Metta World Peace, Warriors' David West, and Cavs' James Jones.
