Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina will miss an undetermined amount of time, beginning with Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers with a strained left ankle, head coach David Fizdale said, according to The Athletic's Mike Vorkunov.

Ntilikina suffered the injury in the first quarter of Friday's 119-112 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. X-rays came back negative on Friday night.

The 20-year-old Ntilikina has averaged 6.0 points, 2.5 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 35 games this season. He appeared in just one minute in Friday's game, recording one rebound, one personal foul and one turnover.

Meanwhile, Fizdale said the team is being cautious with rookie center Mitchell Robinson, who has missed the last nine games with an ankle injury of his own.

Robinson, who has not played since Dec. 14, was also ruled out for Monday's game against Portland, and Fizdale said there is a "more than likely chance" Robinson misses Tuesday's game against the Golden State Warriors as well.

The 20-year-old Robinson has averaged 4.7 points and 3.9 rebounds in 28 games this season.
