The Knicks are one of four teams interested in acquiring free agent Shabazz Muhammad, reports Marc J. Spears of ESPN.
According to Spears, the Hawks, Bucks and Nets are the three other teams pursuing the small forward.
As it stands, the Knicks have just $1.5 million left in salary cap space after their offseason moves.
Selected 14th overall by the Timberwolves in 2013, Muhammad will be entering his fifth season in the league. In 2016-17, the 24-year-old averaged 9.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19.4 minutes per game.
