The Knicks took the time to try out their skills with a bowling ball instead of a basketball at the 19th annual Knicks Bowl event Tuesday night.
Current and former Knicks traveled to Bowlmor Lanes at Chelsea Piers to bowl alongside some fans, and more importantly, to raise money for the Garden of Dreams Foundation, which is a non-profit that helps children facing obstacles.
Enes Kanter, a fan favorite, was one of the current Knicks players in attendance at his first Knicks Bowl. With fans flocking to him all night, the big man made it known how important these events are to give back to the community.
"It's really important. All the fans out there are always supporting us," Kanter told NY Daily News' Nicholas Parco. "It's big for us to give back to the community. We put a smile on their faces. It's priceless."
Knicks star F Kristaps Porzingis was also in attendance as he showed off his bowling skills with a strike.
Among the former Knicks were Herb Williams, John Starks, Charlie Ward, and Larry Johnson to name a few. Team president Steve Mills and GM Scott Perry were also in attendance daunting the Knicks' colors on a bowling uniform.
