The Knicks will be without Tim Hardaway Jr. on Monday vs. the Suns, the team announced.
The shooting guard is dealing with a sore right heel, with his next chance to return being Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Hardaway's absence is just his second of the season.
In place of the injured Hardaway, Courtney Lee will slide into the starting lineup for the first time this season.
Hardaway's injury comes as a surprise for the Knicks, as he was not listed on the team's injury report Monday morning. The 26-year-old guard notched 19 points with three assists, two rebounds, one block and a 3-pointer through 35 minutes in the Knicks' 110-00 loss against the Pacers on Sunday.
Monday's game against the Suns will feature the eighth different starting lineup for New York this year.
