Knicks F Kristaps Porzingis has been selected as a reserve in the upcoming NBA All-Star game, marking the first time in his career he has been named to the All-Star game.
Porzingis, who will represent the Eastern Conference, was selected by NBA Coaches. He is the lone Knicks player to be selected as an All-Star.
The 22-year-old participated in All-Star festivities last season when he won the Skills Competition, despite not being selected to the All-Star game.
Porzingis trails only Bill Cartwright among the youngest Knicks players ever to be named to an All-Star game, as Cartwright was younger than Porzingis by only 15 days.
Porzingis has averaged 23.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.34 blocks per game this season for the Knicks.
