Kristaps Porzingis will participate in the Skills Challenge at All-Star Weekend, the league announced. Porzingis joins Joel Embiid, Lauri Markkanen and Al Horford for the bigs and Lou Williams, Spencer Dinwiddie, Donovan Mitchell and Jamal Murray for the smalls.
The Knicks superstar is the returning champion of this event, having won last season in New Orleans.
"I'm happy to get the win for the bigs," Porzinigs said last year after winning. "This one's for the bigs."
This season, Porzingis is playing in the All-Star game for the first time in his career. He is averaging 23.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game as the Knicks hold a 23-29 record.
The All-Star game will be played at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. The skills challenge will be played on Saturday, Feb. 17 night amid the dunk and three-point contests. Those events will begin at 8 p.m.
