Knicks SG Mindaugas Kuzminskas is still awaiting his turn in the team's rotation this season.
Kuzminskas has not seen the floor in the first eight games of the season. He missed time in preseason with a calf injury, but he says he has "felt one-hundred percent ready for the past month."
A regular player in the rotation last season, Kuzminskas will continue to work hard until he gets his shot.
"As soon as the team needs me, I'm ready," he told the Daily News. "It's hard to stay positive, but when the team is winning -- and I hope we do win -- that helps a lot."
Kuzminskas played 15 minutes per game in his rookie season last year, and he had a strong EuroBasket outing with Team Lithuania. But, for now, it is hard for him to know what the coaches think of him, and when he will step on the hardwood.
"You control what you can control," Kuzminskas said. "We have a lot of coaches who are willing to help me. You've got to take some things from situations like these. Right now, I can put more individual work in. I can keep myself in shape to improve what I need to."
