Lance Thomas will remain out due to a sore left ankle when the Knicks play the Thunder on Monday night at Madison Square Garden, the team announced.
His ankle was in a walking boot after last Wednesday night's game and Thomas said the injury had turned into a bone bruise.
"I don't want to be something that keeps me out for too long but when I come back I want to be effective to the team," Thomas said. "I've been playing through the injuries. My teammates know I've been trying to do my best.''
The 28-year-old has averaged 3.9 points and 2.4 rebounds while averaging 17.5 minutes in eight games this season.
