Presidential candidate Andrew Yang has been sounding off on the Knicks and NBA for months. Here's the latest...
Nov. 21, 3:48 PM:
Yang is not happy that the NCAA has suspended James Wiseman, who could be a Knicks target in the 2020 Draft.
"Oh my gosh, come on! Let James Wiseman freaking play," Yang told TMZ Sports. "We should be paying NCAA athletes on the regular instead of cutting them off!"
Wiseman, who was initially deemed ineligible for the entire season but had that penalty reduced to 12 games.
"I feel for James Wiseman," Yang says added to TMZ Sports. "Happily, he's still gonna wind up a Top 5, Top 10 pick in the NBA Draft so it's gonna be okay for him but he should still be on the court right now playing."
Oct. 14, 11:44 AM:
Once a big Knicks fan, Yang has grown increasingly agitated with the direction of the team. And he is now saying that he "prefers" the Nets.
"Better than the Knicks, man," Yang told Forbes about why he now prefers the Nets. "The (Knicks) ownership is just too. ... too s--ty."
Aug. 30, 12:05 PM:
Some fans think the Knicks are building the right way, and some fans are Andrew Yang.
"For a Knicks fan these are the darkest times I can remember," Yang tweeted on Friday. "Neither competing nor rebuilding. Punting for free agents when there are none of note in 2020. Signing mercenary vets to 1 year deals who will want playing time over overmatched young players. Going to be a long season."
Aug. 2, 1:40 PM:
Yang has a take on what the Charlotte Hornets, should do -- and it involves two former Knicks.

July 23, 1:37 PM:
"I think the New York Knicks need to fall back, on so many levels," Yang said during an appearance on The Beat with Ari Melber. "Oh my gosh, I've been a fan since I was a kid. And so the Summer League Knicks skipped shaking hands with their opponents after they had lost their third straight game."
That "poor sportsmanship led Yang to bash the Knicks' roster management, which included signing a half dozen or so lower tier free agents after missing out on their top targets.
And I said 'no way.' You guys can't be displaying poor sportsmanship on top of losing the game, on top of the epic mismanagement of the team," Yang said. "It's like a team now composed of overpaid role players after they missed out on Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving and everyone else.
March 26, 8:34 PM:
Yang claims he has broken up with the Knicks
