Voting on various categories in the NBA.com GM Survey, decision makers said that Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis has a good chance for a breakout season.
Fourteen percent of GMs voted that Porzingis is likely to make a big leap this season, which was second on the list behind Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves. Seven percent of GMs also said Porzingis is the best international player in the entire league. In his sophomore season, Porzingis tallied 18.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Enes Kanter, acquired from Oklahoma City in the Carmelo Anthony trade, also received votes for being an impactful player off the bench.
Some general managers also believe that Tim Hardaway Jr. coming back to the Knicks was one of the more surprising moves made this entire off season.
