Knicks rookie PG Frank Ntilikina didn't practice on Monday due to his sore knee, the team announced.
Ntilikina told ESPN's Ian Begley he'll be "all right" after missing the second half of Sunday's 99-96 loss to the Atlanta Hawks due to a knee issue.
Ntilikina, who was held scoreless in seven minutes, said he has been dealing with knee soreness for about a month, but added the issues are unrelated to what caused him to miss time during the Summer League and preseason last year.
"It was just over time," Ntilikina told Begley. "It's been like a month, I feel my knee a little sore. Now it was a little more. It's going to be all right."
The 19-year-old Ntilikina has missed just three games this season and none since December. He has averaged 5.4 points, 3.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game.
