Pacers F Paul George has reportedly told the team he plans to leave as a free agent after the 2017-18 season, according to the Associated Press.
The Pacers have already spoken to the Cavaliers about a potential George trade, according to ESPN. The Lakers are also a possible destination for George, according to the NY Post.
The Cavaliers -- along with the Celtics and others -- have reportedly been interested in Carmelo Anthony, who the Knicks intend to trade this summer.
George, 27, averaged 23.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.3 assists this past season for the Pacers.
The Pacers can offer him a five-year extension worth $177 million -- more than any potential team he winds up with can offer.
