Kristaps Porzingis and Enes Kanter missed Saturday night's matchup against the Rockets due to back ailments.
Kanter missed his second game in as many days because of back spasms, while Porzingis has tightness in his lower back.
"It wasn't one specific play," said Porzingis, according to NorthJersey.com. "I didn't really feel it that much during the game. After the game once I cooled down that's when I really started feeling the tightness in my back. That's when I knew it was going to not get better. It's going to get a little worse.
Kanter was questionable heading into the game. In his absence, the Knicks suffered a 116-104 loss to the Hawks on Friday.
Kanter has averaged 13.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game this season for the Knicks, while Porzingis has averaged 27 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
