Kristaps Porzingis missed practice Saturday, but not because of his ankle. His absence was a result of an illness and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Magic, according to Frank Isola of NY Daily News.
Fans feared the worst as the Knicks' star exited the team's 115-86 win against the Heat with an ankle injury. X-rays came back negative and the Latvian had reportedly been progressing well and hoped to play Sunday.
Porzingis is averaging 27 points per game this season, the fourth-highest mark in the NBA.
