The Knicks were led in scoring tonight by J.R. Smith as he scored 25 points on 9-16 shooting from the field. He hit seven three pointers while adding six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Amar's Stoudemire had his second perfect shooting night in the past three games by scoring 21 points on 10-10 shooting from the field. The 21 points are a season high, he added 6 rebounds and was a +31.

Carmelo Anthony only scored nine points on 4-12 shooting ending his streak of consecutive games with 20+ points at 31. That is a Knicks single season record but falls two short of the all time team record. He also added three rebounds and five assists.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings in scoring with 25 points on 10-14 shooting from the field. He had nine rebounds but was -34.

Tyson Chandler had his second consecutive 20 rebound game, the first Knicks to do that since Marcus Camby did so in 2001.

The Knicks trailed 18-6 and outscored the Kings from there 114-63.

The Knicks hit 19 three pointers, one shy of tying a team record.

The Knicks out-rebounded the Kings 52-30.

The Knicks had 34 assists while the Kings only had 14 assists.

This is the latest the Knicks have been 15 games over .500 this late in the season since the end of the 2000-2001 season. [/sny-box]

Hey, remember that time the Knicks played like utter garbage against the Kings at home and trailed 18-6?

You don't? Me neither.

After a horrific start to the game, the Knicks went on to out score the Kings 72-30 in the second and third quarters and cruised to a nice and easy win on Saturday night. This was the kind of game that works so well for the Knicks because on the second game of a back to back, they got a chance to give their rotation a chance to rest.

The Kings at first looked like they were going to take advantage of another slow start from the Knicks and build a big lead. Then all of a sudden the Knicks defense forced some turnovers, the three pointers began to fall, the lead disappeared and the blow out was on.

Amar'e was impressive once again, Tyson is a rebounding machine and even though Melo didn't score 20+, he still did the little things to help get the Knicks the easy win. Also J.R. Smith was unconscious from three.

It really says something when your two leading scorers are your first two guys off the bench.

To be honest, does the city of Seattle really want a basketball team again that badly?

Well, since it is Saturday Night and there is honestly no need to go in-depth on a 39 point beatdown. I want to present to you, in video form, what the Knicks did to the Kings tonight. Enjoy!

Coming up next the Knicks will go for their fifth win in a row at home and get a chance once again pad their record as they will welcome in Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond and the Detroit. The game is on Monday at 7:30 pm and can be seen on MSG.
