On Friday night, former Knicks PG Jason Kidd will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. And the hall will be getting one of their best floor generals of all time enshrined forever.
Kidd will enter the hall with the second-most assists in NBA history with 12,091, and he dished them out in almost every way possible. So, it is only right that we honor all those assists with some of the best dimes of his career...
The Bounce Pass
Kidd had a knack for putting the right touch on his bounce passes to lead his teammates to buckets. He even put insane amounts of spin through traffic to collect some assists too.
No Look, No Problem
There is nothing more stylish and smooth than a no-look dish, and Kidd was one of the best to ever do it. Whether he was hanging in the air about to step out of bounds, or coming up the court on a fast break, Kidd loved to use the no look to add some style points to his assists.
The Alley Oop
Speaking of touch, the alley oop takes chemistry with teammates as well to go along with a perfectly-placed pass. Kidd has some great ones over his career, but a couple stand out over the rest.
Oh, and it wasn't just assists that Kidd was known for. He also had a jumpshot if you left him open. So, here's a game-winner against the Celtics just in case you forgot.
